There are not enough words in a very thick unabridged dictionary to describe just how wonderful, talented and musically perfect these musicians are. These musicians can strut their stuff and be proud to know that they are the best of the best in the whole wide world. I just sit back and put my headphones on to listen to perfection. Whoever worked these kids into the class of musicians they are need to be thanked and they should be proud to know they have created the world's BEST high school marching ORCHESTRA the World has ever seen! Even the FLAGS are choreographed to perfection. I can't get enough of them!!!!
@@laakdal They are a student club, and though they have faculty advisors,, the studens have final say The advisers have admitted to trying to move on from Sing sing Sing, only to be voted down by the students each time. The seniors drill the first year students and prepare the second year students to run things in the following year. A student committee designs the choreography. The drum major is effecctively the club president and overall drill master. 50 hours a week, no academic credit. No schoarships . They make SEC athletes look like slackers. If I were an employer and saw Tachibana Band on a resume, I would hire immediately and figure out what to do wih them later.
I am fully addicted at this point. Have to watch a few videos each day...Love to see them perform the halftime show at the superbowl. It'd be way better than the trash we've become accustomed to.
Kyoto Tachibana SHS Marching Band has become like a vitamin to me. I have to get my daily allowance of them. I just love the little skip and side ways turn they do when performing Michael Jackson's thriller. As I said before, they take a song and make it their own without destroying/distorting the original song. The only thing they don't do in this song is the moon walk. LOL Which I've no doubts that they could personally perfect that too. This video shows why they won National gold that year. They are in top form. And I believe this parade was just one week before the national final. Yes the drummer is outstanding and so is the DM.
Kanichiwa what a treat in New Zealand watching these pretty Japanese Mandarin Oranges moving with such vivacity and strength. Best of all I like their squealing and waving. The tiny tots fascinate me with these large instruments. Bravo to the Teachers. What patience and Japanese discipline must have taken years to do this. Best wishes!

Thanks to the LORD that as a marching band member our American high school and college bands didnt compete against this band. I feel sorry for those schools that march in the same parade as they do.
I agree, probably the most clean, sleek and sychronized movement among all KT marching, showcased in a rare 2 column formation. I believe mistakes in a 2 column formation is much easier to spot than a 3 column one, but the execution is perfect 同感です。おそらく、KTのマーチング全般の中で最も清潔で洗練されたシンクロニズムが見られる演技で、稀な2列のフォーメーションで披露されました。私は2列のフォーメーションではミスが3列の場合よりも簡単に目立つと考えていますが、その実行は完璧です。
The poor drummer never gets a break! She has to keep playing even in between numbers when the other band members get a short break but she's doing a great job!
At least she gets to breathe. I think their musical timing is visually helped by their steps as sound does not travel as fast. Did you know that the girls are their own dance coreographers. This video is a very good example as they are in an unusually long line.
@@poetryinmotionsightsandsou9094 yes. There are videos of new girls being mentored by older girls for music and steps in very small groups. There are wikis and fan sites with bits of info too. It is even more impressive when you consider they have different move variations for the same song in competitions. Teachers, mentors, students and supporters all work together. If you take out any element it wont work. It is a true team achievement.

I daresay that Kyoto Tachibana Orange Devils are the most entertaining High School Marching Band today (especially when Okamoto-san is leading them...yahoo!). Just one look and you'll instantly fall in love with their music,their high-energy and those amazing choreography.

You need like a multi-track recording for this awesome band, because as the camera pans, it just gets the sound of the tubas, trumpets, or whatever it's one, but I don't think it does the entire band justice.

ほんとにすごい！パーカッションの子達、よくステップ踏みながら正確なリズム刻めるなぁ。特にスネアの子。
鉄琴とか、あれだけ動いてよく打ち間違えないなと感心する。金管楽器の子らはも、どうやって息してんの！？て感じだし、木管楽器も押さえるとこけっこう小さいよね。振動で指ずれたりしないんだろうか。そして、ローズパレードのような長時間、長距離をやり通せる体力！ローズパレードなんて、9kmでしたっけ？ただ歩くだけでも、けっこう疲れるのにwスーザフォンなんか、12kgあるんでしょ？もう、脱帽です💦なんといっても、最後まで笑顔を絶やさないオレンジの悪魔達。彼女らは、日本の宝です！

@@BravoBrassStation さま。撮影とアップ有難うございます。同感です。確か、このイベントの一週間後だったと思いますが、マーチングコンテストで、ゴールド金賞を取ったのですね？良く見てみると、この時の一年生達が頑張って、2018年ローズパレード参加に繋がったと思います。驚いたのは、この年の一年生のレベルが非常に高い子達がいたのが伺えます。練習もキツかったと思いますが、金の玉子が開花していったと感じています。

たしか全国マーコンの1週間ほど前のパレードですよね😍
通常であれば賞をとるために猛特訓の時期なのに橘の場合はお客さんを喜んでもらう為に全く構成の違うパレード(しかもレアとも言える2列体制)で笑顔を振りまいてしかもそのマーコンでは金賞😍
「どんないい賞をとるかは考えていない」
「(賞は)真面目にやっとったらついてくる」

確かマーコンの数日前のパレードですよね。
マーコンで演奏演技する構成、演出全て違うパフォーマンスを難なく熟してそのマーコンではゴールド金賞🥇
同じ日でも演奏する場所に合わせて変幻自在にパフォーマンスが行えるのは凄すぎます。
演奏に目がいきがちですが、ガードの歩み出しのスキップ（？）が、ポーニー・テールがゆれてとってもかわいい．
カラーガードの子たちも振付、笑顔、仕草すごくかわいいですよね！！
ポニーテールは最強でしょう！ステップに合わせて右に左に揺れまくり😆

同感。この時のスネアがいちばんすきです。演奏としては,15年バージョンで同じ選曲ながら酒呑童子祭りでの定置演奏が凄いと思ってますが、スネアに特化して言えばこちらが近くで聞こえることもあって、ホント耳に心地よいと思います。
